NEW RICHMOND, Wis. - July 30, 2015 - As the World of Outlaws Late Model Series prepares for its richest event of the year during this weekend's USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway, the national tour is already providing an early look at its 2016 schedule.
Series officials today revealed the first six WoO LMS events of 2016, announcing a new-look February schedule that will feature six events at three tracks in Georgia and Florida over a nine-day stretch. Three supporting dates for DIRTcar Late Models will make for nine consecutive nights of action during the early-season stretch.

Driving a second Wayman McMillan-owned Black Diamond by Club 29 Race Car as a teammate to Morgan Bagley, the second-starting Lanigan overtook polesitter Boom Briggs of Bear Lake, Pa., on lap 38 and led the remaining distance to earn $11,900 for the 71st WoO LMS victory of his career and his third consecutive Gopher 50 triumph.Read More
Heavy Thunderstorm Wipes Out Tuesday’s World of Outlaws Late Model Series Event At Gillette Midway Through Program
GILLETTE, Wyo. - July 14, 2015 - A heavy thunderstorm that moved over Gillette Thunder Speedway just after completion of heat races for Tuesday's World of Outlaws Late Model Series Wild West Tour event forced track and series officials to cancel the remainder of the night's program. The event will not be made up.
Tuesday's event was the third scheduled date for the five-race WoO LMS Wild West Tour. Prior to the rainout, series points leader Shane Clanton of Zeublon, Ga., set fast time over 34 entries and won the first of four heat races. Chase Junghans of Manhattan, Kan., Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., and Darrell Lanigan of Union, Ky., claimed the other three heats.
